Working with me is like having a personal guide

I help you navigate the many aspects of caring for your horses in a way that honors them for who they are as individuals. Regardless if they’re sharing their life with you as members of the family, partners in equine therapy, competitive teammates, or otherwise, this is the kind of service I wish I had years ago. Most importantly, you’re not alone.

I’ll teach you about the following:

  • horse behavior
  • herd language
  • species-appropriate diet
  • lifestyle
  • environmental considerations
  • emotional and social needs
  • energetic techniques
  • physical evaluation
  • connecting with your horse
  • first aid
  • advocating for your horse

Once you have an awareness and a fresh perspective of what’s going on with you and your horse, I’ll help you make decisions that are proactive and in your horse’s best interest. I’ll teach you to connect the dots and find answers to your problems. You will be able to change what is going on but I will be there to help you. I will show you how everything is connected and we will find the root of the issue. I’ll share with you solutions that have solved similar problems for myself.

I’ll teach you to implement progressive changes. Sometimes our horses are helped the most when we allow them to help us. Don’t worry, I’ll show you how to do that for yourself.

You’re in good hands working with me as an educator about all things horse.

The bottom line is that you’ll have a foundation of knowledge and intuitive connection. It puts you in a position of strength I’ve been in the veterinary field since age twelve, with animals my whole life, and obtained a Biology degree from Sweet Briar College in 2003. Managing stables, working in the equine assisted therapy field, holistically rehabilitating horses, feeding horses whole-food diets, trimming hooves, and working with energetic modalities led me to get a degree in Veterinary Technology from Front Range Community College in 2011. I love to share what’s worked for me, usually with stories of my own animal teachers.

Wherever you are on your path with horses, you’ll get the individual time and attention you need to become educated, empowered, and tuned-in to yourself and your horse.

I’ll teach you how to resolve these issues and what to do long-term. This is the sort of thing that can be tough to do alone. It helps to have a fellow horse person who “gets it” and who can offer you perspective and provide a listening ear. That’s where I come in to help.

By working with me you’ll become clear with what’s going on, have a plan to implement, and learning how to advocate for your horse. You’ll be well-informed and prepared to speak with you veterinarian, dentist, farrier/trimmer, bodyworker, trainer, and stable manager. I’ll make sure you have opportunities to develop stronger intuition and become comfortable using with the tools that resonate with you.

You’ll come away with a solid foundation of knowledge. I’ll help you re-gain your intuitive connection with your horse. You’ll find that you’re in a great position to make decisions from a point of strength and peace. I’ll leave no stone unturned and you’ll come away with a plan to resolve your issues.
